ASHLAND - Chequamegon Bay Ice Cave Tours begin this Friday, however the Meyers Beach Ice Caves are not part of the tour.  The Meyers Beach Ice Caves have remained inaccessible since 2015. Red Cliff Ice Caves look like to be open to foot traffic starting February 7th.  This is more ice this year than all last year in the Apostle Islands.  Right now, most of the Apostle Islands are locked in ice.
