IRONWOOD – Higher prices at the pump in Ironwood compared to last week at this time.  Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.15 per gallon for regular unleaded gas. That price is 8 cents more than this time last month and 11 cents more than this time last year. Meantime, the national average sits 3 cents lower than the state, at $3.12 per gallon.  Around Upper Michigan, the lowest average is in Houghton County at $2.97 per gallon. The highest is in Mackinac County at $3.31 per gallon.  Ironwood prices rose to near the national average at $3.13 per gallon as of this morning.
