BARRON COUNTY - The Barron County Sheriff’s Department in Northwest Wisconsin says on Christmas Day just before 7pm, authorities received a report of two people and a UTV falling through the ice near Chetek.  Both people were helped out of the freezing water by a family that was ice fishing near the area when authorities arrived on scene.  The department says a 25-year-old man from Chetek was treated and released at the scene.  The driver of the UTV, a 53-year-old man from Chetek, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
