IRONWOOD – Gas prices in Michigan are on the rise for the second straight week.  AAA of Michigan reports the state average is up 15 cents from a week ago.  Drivers are now paying an average of $2.96 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas; that’s 18 cents higher than last month. Michigan now sits above the national average, which is $2.82 per gallon this week.  In Upper Michigan, the lowest average is Menominee County at $2.64 per gallon. The highest average is still in Mackinac County at $3.07 per gallon.  Ironwood prices at $2.83 this morning.
