IRONWOOD – Ironwood gas prices have been fluctuating over the past week with the state average price starting the week higher.  Michigan drivers are paying 11 cents more this week compared to last week, which puts the state average at $2.81. Despite the increase, that price is still 23 cents less than this time last year.  Michigan now sits one cent higher than the national average, which is $2.80 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas. In the U.P. The lowest average is in Menominee County at $2.56 per gallon. The highest is in Mackinac County at $3.07 Ironwood gas prices this morning range from $2.73 to $2.89 per gallon.
