IRONWOOD - Aspirus Upper Peninsula pharmacies launched the Medication Deactivation Bag Program at its Ironwood, Ontonagon, Houghton, Laurium, locations.

Offering families a safe and convenient way to dispose of unused or expired medications. The supplies were sourced through the University of Michigan’s OPEN Program. Proper disposal prevents accidental ingestion, reduces overdose risk, limits misuse, and protects the environment.  The free bags can be picked up at any participating pharmacy.
