IRONWOOD – No heat advisories in affect for today however expect high humidity levels and highs in the mid-80s with a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon especially south of Ironwood in Northern Wisconsin.  Hail up to 2 inches in diameter, damaging wind gusts to 80 mph, and a few brief tornadoes are the main threats along with Locally heavy rain.

HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT TONIGHT for our entire listening area. Heat index values of 95 to 100 are expected for this afternoon.  Just like yesterday we could see thunderstorms fire up again this afternoon and tonight.  Some storms could be strong to severe.
