IRONWOOD – The Gogebic County Fair may have just ended but plans are already underway for next years fair.  The Friends of the Fair on the Gogebic County Fair Facebook page yesterday said that they are changing the dates for next year’s fair.  Next the Gogebic County Fair will take place a week later than normal, on August 13 through the 16th.  No explanation for the change was posted.  The Friends of the Fair took over yearly planning of the fair and has control over all activities at the fair grounds in Ironwood.  The Gogebic County Board of Commissioners pays for the upkeep and maintenance of the fairgrounds.
