IRONWOOD - The Ironwood City Commission approved a resolution to approve the fiscal year 2025-26 budget which will go in effect on July 1st. The $36,540,000 budget covers total revenue and net assets, and total expenditure includes capital outlay and transfers. Paul Linn, the city treasurer and finance director, presented the budget to the commission, emphasizing that more than $22 million of the city’s projected income would be coming from 13 grants, most of them federal. Monday’s motion also included the adoption of the city’s fee schedule for the upcoming fiscal year.
