MINOCQUA - Minocqua Brewing Company’s Kirk Bangstad has had another setback in his battle to open an outdoor beer garden at this establishment. A federal district judge last week denied Bangstad’s request for an injunction that would have prevented Oneida County from denying his request to reinstate a conditional use permit. U.S. District Court judge for the Western District of Wisconsin, James Peterson ruled that Bangstad had not demonstrated a likelihood of success on the merits of the case, which one of the criteria required to grant an injunction.
