ASHLAND – The Ashland Fire Department was dispatched to a two-story house fire in in the 600 block of Prentice Ave in Ashland just after 5:30 yesterday, Morning.  Mutual aid was requested from Washburn, Marengo and Mason Fire Departments arrived to help fight the fire.  Eight residents have been displaced due to the fire.  The Salvation Army is providing vouchers and assistance to the victims.  The fire is believed to have started in the attack.  The home received extensive damage.  No injuries were reported.  The cause of the fire in under investigation.
