GOGEBIC COUNTY – Snowmobile Trails are open in Gogebic County however riders are asked to ride with caution.  Yesterday the Trail Authority rolled in the rest of trail 8, but groomers say trail 8 out of Wakefield has a significant amount of running water. Brushing on the entire trail system is ongoing along with removing hanging tree branches and whips.  The White Thunder Riders Club in Northern Iron County crews have been out clearing trails, fixing damaged signs, packing the trails, and snow bridging any wet spots. Saying they soon be able to offer riders several open trails in the Northern part of Iron County.
