IRON RIVER, MICH - Alcohol may have been a factor in an accident that left one person dead and three injured on Ottawa Lake Road in Iron County Michigan. Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene around 3:11 am on Thursday to find a minivan driving WB had failed to make a curve, ran off the road, and hit a tree.  A male passenger from Iron River was pronounced dead at the scene.  The female driver and a male passenger, both from Iron River had serious injuries and a third male passenger from Indiana had to be freed from the vehicle and had serious injuries.  All three were taken to Aspirus Iron River.  An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
