IRONWOOD - USA Today has named the Western U.P. as the winner of its Best Fall Foliage Destination Spot for 2024. The publication said Copper Peak was one of the best areas to get a panoramic view of the fall colors. Copper Peak’s adventure ride will be open through the 20th and provides an excellent opportunity to do some leaf peeping. Other locations in the U.P. that are prime for viewing fall colors are Brockway Mountain Drive near Copper Harbor or M-28 between Marquette and Munising.
