IRONWOOD - The Gogebic Community College Board of Trustees held its reorganizational meeting prior to Tuesday’s meeting. Susan Beals remains as Chairperson, Michael McPherson serving as Vice Chairperson, John Lupino remains as Secretary and Eric Fitting will continue to serve as Treasurer. All will serve in their respective offices for two years. The Board of Trustees will continue to hold regular meetings on the last Tuesday of the month beginning at 5:00 p.m. with the exception of July and December meetings, which are scheduled to avoid conflicts with the Michigan Community College Association (MCCA) Summer Conference, and the Christmas holiday.  William Malloy was selected as the representative to the Michigan Community College Association (MCCA) Board of Directors for 2025-2027. John Lupino was approved as the alternate.  The Board also authorized the Administration to seek a consultant, at a cost not to exceed $10,000, for the posting of the VP of Academics position.
