N. WISCONSIN - Bear hunters will be able to harvest more bears in Wisconsin this fall.  The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Board approved a six percent increase in the quota to 6,075 bears, after the state's bear population made a big comeback last year.  The board also raised the number of licenses available by 14%, to just more than 13,000 licenses.  Last year, hunters killed about 4,300 bears during the hunt, which is a 47% increase from the year before.  A total of around 11,500 bear hunting licenses were awarded to hunters through a lottery system in last year's hunt.  The state has around 23,000 bears.
